Brett is Botanist & Head Grower for Gabriella Plants in Oviedo, Florida. At Gabriella Plants, he oversees the production of over 1000 different varieties of plants -- such as Aroids (Monstera, Philodendron, Anthurium, Alocasia), Calatheas; Epiphytes and Carnivorous plants -- and works continuously in his hybridization plant breeding efforts. As a plant influencer, botanical communicator, and with his connections within the Florida plant industry, Brett has his finger on the pulse of plant market trends!
A native New Yorker, it was during Pre-K in Yonkers that Brett became hooked on the wonderful world of plants. Brett received his Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture & Agribusiness from Ferrum College (Ferrum, VA). He also holds a Technical Degree in Greenhouse Management, Technical Certifications in Greenhouse Management, Landscape Design & Floriculture, as well as being a FNGLA Certified Horticulture Professional, Brett has an unquenchable thirst for plant knowledge & a tireless dedication to teaching and educating others!
