Start Date: 11/01/2025 Compensation: $70,700 - $82,000 per year
Dynamic landscape architecture firm in Brooklyn and the Hudson Valley with a diverse portfolio and a commitment to sustainable practices is seeking a 3D Modeling + Rendering Specialist who is passionate, hard‐working, and highly skilled at making visually compelling images. Must have proven expertise in rendering and 3D modeling. The 3D Modeling + Rendering Specialist will be responsible for producing high-quality visual representations of Future Green’s designs, including photorealistic renderings, conceptual visualizations, and presentation graphics. You will collaborate closely with landscape architects and designers to bring ideas to life, from early concepts to final presentations.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Create compelling 3D renderings to illustrate design intent at various stages of a project
- Translate conceptual sketches, CAD plans, and 3D models into visually engaging imagery
- Transcribe conceptual designs into precise Revit models for developing construction documents and shop drawings
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure visuals align with project goals and design direction
- Organize and manage a library of textures, models, and rendering assets
- Apply realistic materials, textures, and lighting to 3D models to achieve desired aesthetic
- Help with other firm responsibilities including marketing, website updates, and promotional content as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be skilled at receiving and integrating feedback. This iterative approach is essential to our process, so applicants should be adaptable, responsive, and make quick modifications
- 5+ years of experience in another rendering or similar role, preferably in a landscape architecture or architecture studio
- Strong portfolio demonstrating rendering and visualization skills, especially of outdoor spaces
- Dependable, hard‐working, self‐directed
- Detail‐oriented with strong organizational skills
- Skilled at multitasking and working toward multiple deadlines
- High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, Rhino, CAD, and other 3D modeling software
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience producing VR/AR environments and interactive walkthroughs a plus
- Proficiency in AI-assisted rendering tools a plus
