Urban Arborists is widely known for the accuracy of its recommendations and the quality of its work. You can check out the work we’ve done for some of our major institutional and municipal clients such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Evergreens Cemetery, NYU, and Madison Square Park. We also love to plant new trees. Over the past two decades, we have planted more than 7,000 trees. We also serve hundreds of private clients annually, from those with humble urban backyards or container gardens to luxury condo terraces
Responsibilities/Duties
- Field customer phone and email queries – manage general mailbox, info@urbanarb.com mailbox – checking both daily and responding within reasonable timeframes (24 business hours)
- Schedule client visits for all field arborists, determining what type of visit is needed in advance
- Confirm arborist client visits within 24 hours of visit
- Contact arborists by phone (call or text) for any same day schedule changes
- Review, edit and send estimates/contracts
- Apply for relevant permits
- Manage zoom and indeed account, including job postings and coordinate with prospective employee to set up interviews
- Manage weekly Office zoom meetings
- Serve as point person for Last Tech IT
- Manage weekly arborist meeting schedule and communications around that meeting
- General customer relationship management
- Track and create consulting and diagnostic contracts
- Work to organize RFPs and communication around RFPs
- Maintain ongoing list of all clients
- Maintain and update UA website and Instagram
- Assist with tree inventories, data entry, and assessments as needed
- Order materials as needed for office in coordination with bookkeeper
- Manage phone recording – update for new employees, changes during vacation time, emergencies, etc.
