Assistant Gardener/Florist and Driver

Start Date: Immediately  Compensation: $25. per hour starting pay

Part time (Days/hours between Monday and Friday to be discussed). Full Time available as well. This is a permanent job, year round.

  • Assist in all types of ourdoor planting of mostly small plants from delivery to planting to soil amending to maintenance
  • Assist in all types of floral arranging and maintenance
  • Deliveries of plant and floral arrangements periodically
  • Various driving to pick up small materials; appointments; deliveries​
  • Most work in NYC


  • Detailed maintenances for both outdoor and indoor plants and arrangements
  • We will train you according to our protocols
  • Must be punctual and begin work on time
  • Keep written record of work completed and materials used
  • Some early morning to receive light plant orders, approximately
  • 6 times a year, requiring you to be into work 4:30 or 5AM
  • Most other morning start times to be discussed (8-9AM)
  • Communicate as needed via cell phone while on the job


  • ​Non smoker
  • Proof of at least two covid vaccinations
  • Experience with planting outdoors
  • Experience creating flower arrangements (will train)
  • Experience watering indoor plants
  • Experience watering flower arrangements
  • Experience maintaining gardens and indoor plants
  • Experience driving in NYC with a clean license
  • Legal to work in NYC
  • Excellent English language skill: Able to read and write and understand spoken English
  • Familiarity with mass transit in NYC
