We’re growing our seasonal team.

Looking for dependable, detail-oriented gardeners to support installations and maintenance of rooftop and townhouse gardens throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of professional experience, strong work ethic, and genuine interest in urban horticulture.

On-site (NYC)
Starting at $30-40/hr DOE
Seasonal / On-call (Spring & Fall busiest)

Responsibilities/Duties

You will assist with:

• Garden installations and seasonal change-outs
• Planting, detailed weeding, fertilizing, watering, pruning, and mulching
• Site clean-up and maintaining organized work areas
• Monitoring plant health and communicating observations
• Transporting and staging materials on rooftops and townhouse gardens

Qualifications/Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional gardening experience
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Comfortable taking direction while using sound judgment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, beautiful results
• Genuine interest in urban horticulture
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in changing conditions
• Valid driver’s license preferred
