 Compensation: $20-25/hr

Town and Gardens, Ltd. is looking for hardworking, reliable Crew Members to join our team. This is an entry-level role, working directly under the guidance of a Crew Leader / Senior Crew Leader, designed for individuals who are eager to build a career in urban horticulture. At Town and Gardens, every crew member is a vital part of our success; you will take a high degree of responsibility for your work, support your teammates, and learn the skills needed to become a future leader in the industry. 

Responsibilities/Duties

Your Impact:

  • Deliver Excellence: Perform hands-on horticultural maintenance and installations at high-end NYC properties, ensuring every detail meets our quality standards.
  • Support Your Team: Assist your Crew Leader in managing tools, equipment, and materials. You play a key role in keeping company vehicles organized and ready for the day.
  • Communicate Clearly: Keep your Crew Leader and the operations team informed about site conditions and project progress to ensure smooth operations.
  • Grow Your Skills: Attend paid, after-work training sessions to master new techniques. You will actively learn from your Crew Leader to build your professional judgment.
  • Digital Documentation: Use mobile apps (Aspire, Outlook, Google Drive) to stay on top of schedules, documentation, and team communications.

Qualifications/Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Work Ethic: A punctual, professional, and courteous attitude toward your colleagues and our clients.
  • Physical Ability: The strength to lift up to 50 lbs and the resilience to work outdoors in all New York weather conditions.
  • Attention to Detail: The ability to follow verbal and written instructions with precision.
  • Mobility: The ability to travel to various job sites via public transportation.
  • Ambition: A genuine interest in horticulture and a desire to grow within a leading firm. (A valid driver’s license or knowledge of irrigation/lighting is a plus!)
