We have a busy 2026 growing season ahead! HARRISON GREEN is seeking dynamic horticultural professionals to join our growing Garden Maintenance Team. We are a Design/Build/Maintain practice and Garden Maintenance lies at the heart of our mission to create sustainable, client-centered gardens. Qualifications/Requirements

Passion & Attitude

  • Genuine love for New York City and respect for all living things
  • Commitment to ornamental horticulture and high standards of workmanship
  • Desire to work outdoors
  • Positive, dependable, honest (and fun!)

Technical Expertise

  • Expert in garden maintenance: planting, weeding, pruning, mulching, watering, deadheading, and cleaning exterior spaces
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and perform regular outdoor activity
  • Attention to detail, cleanliness, and order
  • OSHA Certification, NY State Driver’s License, and NYS DEC Pesticide Applicator/Technician Certification are preferred but not required

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in horticulture or agriculture, ideally in an urban setting
  • Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
