Start Date: Immediately  Compensation: $25/hr

BUDS (Blooming Urban Design Scapes) is seeking a seasonal part-time gardener (through December) in NYC and some work in Hoboken.  Experience with proper planting methods and the ability to handle physically demanding work is important. The candidate would be expected to carry out basic gardening duties and enjoy working as part of a team.

Responsibilities/Duties

Work with a team to install and maintain urban gardens.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Punctual and dependable
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects consistently
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license, reputable driving record, and be comfortable driving and parallel parking in New York City are a plus
• Ability to drive cargo van and knowledge of irrigation systems are a plus
