New Eco Landscapes is a residential landscape design and installation firm serving the NYC five boroughs. We create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces for discerning clients — from rooftop terraces to private gardens throughout the city. We are hiring skilled Gardeners to join our maintenance teams. You love plants, take pride in the details, and bring genuine horticultural knowledge to every garden you touch. Year-round and seasonal positions available.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Perform regular garden maintenance including pruning, deadheading, weeding, edging, and mulching
• Monitor plant health; identify and address pest, disease, or cultural problems
• Execute seasonal plantings, bed preparation, and soil amendments
• Maintain garden beds, containers, and green roofs to high horticultural standards
• Operate and care for hand tools and small power equipment
• Communicate observations and recommendations to clients and supervisors professionally

Qualifications/Requirements

• 1–3+ years of professional gardening or horticulture experience
• Solid knowledge of plants, seasonal care, and NYC growing conditions
• Experience with rooftop or container gardening is a strong plus
• Physically fit; able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all seasons
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in the quality of their work
• Valid driver's license preferred
