Freelance / Project-Based – Jungle NYC – Brooklyn, NY
Jungle is hiring freelance gardeners to support our indoor and outdoor plant installations across NYC. We design and install lush, modern plant environments for top brands, creative offices, and private clients who care about aesthetics and impact.

We're looking for do-ers who take pride in their work - whether you’ve led your own installs or are early in your plant career and ready to grow. If you’ve got at least 2 years of hands-on experience with urban plants and are excited about greening the city, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities/Duties

What You'll Do:

  • Help install plants and planters across commercial, residential, and event spaces
  • Prepare materials (soil, planters, staging) for site conditions
  • Move and place large plants and planters with care and precision
  • Ensure clean, complete, and polished installations
  • Work with a friendly, creative, and fast-moving team

Compensation & Details:

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experienced: 2+ years working with plants in NYC or another urban environment (interior, exterior, or nursery work all count)
  • Detail-oriented: You notice the little things that make a space sing and make plants thrive for years to come
  • Reliable: You show up prepared, focused, and respectful
  • Physically capable: Comfortable lifting, carrying, and working on your feet
  • Passionate: You believe more plants make a better city
