Start Date: 11/01/2023  Compensation: Starting Rate: $34,800

Under the direct supervision of the Garden Foreman, performs all garden and landscape maintenance required for the care of ornamental plantings including trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and turf.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor or Associate’s degree in Horticulture or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Horticulture or related field preferred; 
• or at least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Neat, clean appearance and ability to work with the general public crucial. 
• Ability to work weekends and holidays is required.  
• Ability to perform physical tasks under varying weather conditions. 
• Must have a valid driver’s license. 
• Must obtain a NJ Certified Pesticide Operator license if requested.
