Start Date: Mid-March Compensation: $25-$30 per hour
We are a Brooklyn-based garden design & installation company looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our crew. We care for gardens throughout the city and seeking a candidate with a passion for the outdoors and for plants.
The right candidate should be able to lift 40lbs, have a sense of humor and doesn't mind getting dirty. While a knowledge of horticulture is a plus, we willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Assist with garden installations in Manhattan, Brooklyn & Queens and help maintain existing gardens.
- Duties include: planting, pruning, deadheading, dividing, transplanting, fertilizing, mulching, monitoring and treating for pests and diseases, monitoring irrigation systems.
