If you are better than the rest – Please join Our Team: Gardeners, Installers & Horticulture Leaders

We are an employee-run landscape and horticulture company built on trust, shared responsibility, and a deep respect for the work we love. We believe the best gardens are created—and cared for—by people who genuinely love plants, value collaboration, and take pride in doing things the right way. If you are looking for more than just a job and want to be part of a cohesive, committed team shaping some of New York City’s most distinctive gardens, we would love to meet you.

Our work spans rooftops, terraces, townhouses, backyards, and interior landscapes throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Every site is different, and every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn. We value craftsmanship, curiosity, and accountability, and we support one another in building long, meaningful careers in horticulture.

Responsibilities/Duties

You’ll Thrive Here If You:

  • Enjoy hands-on outdoor work and problem-solving in real environments
  • Value initiative, organization, and attention to detail
  • Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based setting
  • Want to grow your skills and help strengthen a team—not just punch a clock
  • Care about doing beautiful, lasting work in challenging urban conditions

What You’ll Be Doing (Depending on Role)

  • Maintaining high-end urban gardens through all seasons: planting, pruning, fertilizing, cutbacks, cleanups, and garden openings/closings
  • Installing plants, trees, shrubs, irrigation, and landscape lighting with care and precision
  • Preparing and maintaining job sites, including soil prep, mulching, watering-in, and cleanup
  • Monitoring plant health, irrigation performance, and site conditions, and communicating issues proactively
  • Working closely with supervisors, leads, and designers to execute design intent in the field
  • Supporting safe, efficient workflows and contributing to a positive team culture
  • For senior roles: managing crews, coordinating schedules, overseeing quality and safety, reviewing drawings, and ensuring projects are executed on time and on budget

Qualifications/Requirements

We are hiring across multiple levels—Gardeners, Installers, Irrigation techs, and experienced Horticulture and Field Leaders. Regardless of role, we are looking for people who:

  • Love what you do
  • Care deeply about plants, the environment, and creating beautiful environments
  • Take pride in detail, preparation, and follow-through
  • Communicate and work well as part of a team
  • Show up dependable, engaged, and ready to learn
  • Respect job sites, clients, and coworkers
