Start Date: 12/1/25  Compensation: $28-$35 per hour

We are a boutique design, build, and maintenance studio seeking a Head Gardener to help wrap up the current season and step into a leadership role as we move into spring. You will work directly with the principal to manage planting installations, select garden construction tasks, and ongoing maintenance.

You are a dedicated horticultural professional who understands what providing white-glove garden service in New York City means. You place value in growing a garden vs. installing a garden. When you walk into a space, you immediately know what needs to be done and can delegate tasks to a small team. You know the ins and outs of all the nurseries. You can create a medal worthy window box display. 

Qualifications/Requirements

• Strong horticultural experience with an eye for design and plant healthcare knowledge
• Demonstrated skill in seasonal plantings
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and execute planting installations and maintenance
• Comfort with light garden construction tasks
• Discreet, reliable, and familiar with providing elevated service
• Knowledge of NYC-area nurseries and suppliers
• Valid driver’s license; comfortable driving a small cargo van

Additional Information

Schedule: Must be available at least 3days per week for NYC based work or full time availability with some regional travel.
