 Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour

Glover Perennials is currently seeking a Production Assistant to join our team.   The Production Assistant will be a key member of the production team and serve as a liaison between our potting and propagation teams and assist the production managers.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Facilitate the work of the potting and propagation teams
• Overall management of stock plant and plug inventory
• Assist Production Manager with prioritizing maintenance needs
• Data entry for inventory and production scheduling needs
• Ensure all products have proper labeling and make computer generated labels, when needed
• Participate on potting and propagation teams when needed, and learn all production related procedures
• Inspect and count orders received from plant vendors

Qualifications/Requirements

• The ideal candidate has a high level of organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
• Knowledge of perennials, a love of working outdoors and getting your hands dirty is required.  
• A degree in horticulture is preferred.  
• Some Spanish language communication skills or a willingness to learn required.
