Start Date: March  Compensation: $17-$21/hour

Broken Arrow Nursery is hiring up to two seasonal Horticulturist Assistants.  These highly flexible roles range from 16-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities/Duties

Primary responsibilities include a wide variety of tasks related to the daily care and maintenance of our uniquely diverse collection of rare and unusual plants.  Opportunities are available to gain experience in all phases of woody plant production, including propagation, container production, field production, and integrated pest management.

Qualifications/Requirements

Applicants must have a driver's license and should be energetic, physically fit, and have the ability to follow directions and work independently, as well as part of a team.  Experience operating and maintaining farm equipment and nursery infrastructure is a plus.  Basic knowledge of plant material and general plant care is beneficial but not required.
