Start Date: 11/10/2025 Compensation: $75,750 - $97,500 per year
Dynamic landscape architecture firm in Brooklyn and the Hudson Valley with a diverse portfolio and a commitment to sustainable practices is seeking a Site Manager who is passionate, hard- working, and highly skilled.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Manage on-site installations and projects
- Oversee all subcontractors on site
- Responsible for all field measurements
- Responsible for ensuring safe conditions on site and safe practices with installation team
- Help coordinate deliveries on site
- Report daily progress logs and pictures
- Assist in ensuring working methods are efficient and adhered to by staff
- Ensure safety protocols are implemented and adhered to
- Attend weekly staff meetings to discuss upcoming schedule and work flow
- Attend pre-bid meetings and field walkthroughs
- Assist in producing construction timelines for all projects
- Review scope details and specifications for new projects
- Review of shop drawing plans, sections and details
- Review project specifications and flag items requiring submittals
- Help to analyze opportunities for value engineering and comparable product substitutions
Qualifications/Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in landscape construction
- Experience in managing public, private residential, and commercial bids
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus
