Start Date: April 1st  Compensation: $35-45/hr

New Eco Landscapes is a residential landscape design and installation firm serving the NYC five boroughs. We design, install, and maintain high-quality outdoor spaces and take pride in the technical excellence of every system we build. We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to install, service, and maintain irrigation systems for our residential clients across NYC. You are technically proficient, work with a high degree of independence, and understand that proper water management is the foundation of every thriving urban garden.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Install, program, test, and maintain drip irrigation and low-volume watering systems
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in controllers, valves, heads, and wiring
• Perform seasonal system start-ups and winterizations
• Conduct site inspections and document findings, materials used, and as-built irrigation maps
• Coordinate with installation and maintenance crews to integrate irrigation into new and existing projects
• Recommend system upgrades where appropriate; maintain organized vehicle stocked for daily service

Qualifications/Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience installing and servicing professional irrigation systems
• Strong knowledge of drip and low-volume systems; rooftop and container system experience preferred
• Ability to read site plans and create basic system documentation
• Valid NYS driver's license required; comfortable navigating NYC independently
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and all weather conditions
• IA (Irrigation Association) certification a plus but not required
