Landscape Crew Leader

Start Date: 4/1/2026 Compensation: $25-$30 / hr
Our need is for a hands-on motivated problem solver with 3+ years experience leading a crew in professional landscape installations and maintenance. This is not an entry level position. We are looking to meet a dedicated horticulturist who is passionate about functional, resilient landscapes with a track record in upholding standards of quality, aesthetics, and ecological best practices at a variety of scales.
This is a part-to-full time seasonal position running from April-November. Some flexibility in regards to busier or slower weeks is required. Compensation is $25-$30 / hr depending on experience, with 7 paid days off and periodic bonuses.
Job Locaton: Kingston, NY
Qualifications/Requirements
- Strong ability to read a landscape and reinforce design intent while balancing plant succession
- Confidence to balance immediate tasks with long-term to-do’s, defining priorities for co-workers and delegating tasks accordingly
- Robust experience managing properties with an eye toward time budgets, both current and future
- Valid Driver’s license
