Landscape Laborer / Crew Leader

Start Date: 8/1/22 Compensation: $18 - $25 per hour
Blondie’s Treehouse Inc. install’s exterior gardens and design/build projects in very high-end locations in the New York City and Tri-State area. We are looking for an individual to join our Exterior Installation + Service Department in a full time capacity. Candidate must be reliable, knowledgeable, and able to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Our image as a company is extremely important to us.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Understand the job responsibilities for each day and prepare accordingly.
- Carefully load and unload the truck with tools and equipment for the day’s assignment.
- Maintain tools and tool inventory. Be sure that all tools return to warehouse at the end of the day, and are offloaded from the vehicle as a complete set.
- Understand our responsibilities for a job.
- Install plants efficiently, with design consideration in mind, as directed by our paperwork, site evaluation, and the Operation Manager.
- Water all exterior instillations before leaving site.
- Leave instillation broom clean.
- Return paperwork at the end of each day signed off on with crew names, date, and truck used.
- Proper attire to be worn at all times. This includes a company logo shirt or jacket, work pants, and boots. No baseball caps permitted.
Qualifications/Requirements
(Horticulture Experience Required)
- Highly Professional
- Reliable
- Read & Write in English
- 30hr OSHA & 40hr SST Card
- Construction Experience – Masonry, Electrical, Mechanical, and Carpentry knowledge is a PLUS!
- Irrigation Experience is a PLUS!
- Lighting Experience is a PLUS!
- Clean Driving Record – CDL is a Plus!
- Knowledge of Landscaping, Annuals, Perennials, Grasses, Trees, and Shrubs.
