Landscape Maintenance Foreman

Start Date: 03/13/2023 Compensation: $25.00-$35.00
- Manage all activities on the job site including assigning tasks to crew members in order to meet or exceed quality standards within budget.
- Monitor all tools and equipment ensuring all safety guards are in place, any damage or repairs are communicated and removed from service when applicable.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Ensure all crew members utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow company and industry safety standards.
- Follow direction from the Production Manager.
- Effectively communicate well with all crew members, supervisor, and client.
- Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately as needed using company IT
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Perform and document DOT circle checks daily
- Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are in trailer(s), truck and equipment is fueled and materials disposed of at night
- Actively participate in safety and training with all crew members in accordance with company standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or as required.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis.
- Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis.
- Willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns and other environmental risks.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, walk, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally assist with lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Able to drive truck with trailer
- 2+ years landscape industry experience.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Proficient with landscape tools and equipment
- Driver’s license with DOT Card and clean driving record.
- Knowledge of basic landscape trees, plants and materials.
- Self starting motivated individual who is detail oriented.
- Verbal & written communication skills.
- Time Management and ability to work long hours.
- Able to prioritize and multitask.
- Clean and Professional appearance.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese) a plus.
