Start Date: Immediate Compensation: $19 - $34
Immediate opening for a motivated individual interested in the field of landscape construction and landscape maintenance. We work on everything from rooftop gardens to intricated backyards. In this position you will be getting your hands dirty learning about soil works, plantings, hardscape, carpentry, irrigation and lighting. If you are new or experienced we would love to have you join our team.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Assist foreman and staff with day to day job site tasks
- installing protection during deliveries
- Moving materials (Plants, soil, stone, debris)
- Planting installations
- Working on hardscape projects
- Preparing materials at the shop
- Assisting carpenter
- Cleaning of site and shop at the end of each day
Qualifications/Requirements
- Strong work ethic
- Horticulture knowledge
- Irrigation and light experience desirable
- Construction experience
- Experience working through finished buildings/apartments
- Willing to get hands dirty
- Ability to work with others and take direction
- Ability to problem solve and think outside the box
- Ability to communicate with clients and staff
- Clean drivers license
