Start Date: February 2026  Compensation: $20/hour

Rosedale Nurseries in Hawthorne is looking to fill a full time position in the Nursery Center. The ideal candidate has an interest in horticulture, the temperament to thrive in a retail/sales environment and a willingness to learn about and contribute to Nursery operations. 

The role is based on a 5 day work week (a minimum of one weekend day) with opportunity for overtime during peak periods at a starting rate of up to $20/hr. (increasing after 90 days). 

Responsibilities/Duties

• Customer Engagement - sales advice/guidance on indoor plants and nursery center products
• Inventory Management (pricing and stocking garden related hard goods)
• Nursery Center Operations (Cashiering and related support duties)
• Working in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be a team player
• Have strong communication and time management skills
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Have computer experience
• Available to work weekends
