Start Date: ASAP  Compensation: $24/hr starting

The Old Yew is a boutique West Village plant shop and gardening company. We are seeking part-time / freelance gardeners to assist with interior and exterior landscape installations and ongoing maintenance.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Planting and transplanting a variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and tropicals
• Working with soil and soil amendments
• Tending to and preparing plants for installation at our plant shop and outdoor nursery
• Watering, cleaning, pruning, and maintaining interior and exterior plants at a number of our maintenance accounts

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience working with plants is required.
