 Compensation: $20-$25/hour

We design, install, and maintain stunning interior plantscapes and provide exquisite floral arrangements for a diverse clientele across New York City. As a Plant & Floral Delivery Driver, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring our plants and floral arrangements arrive safely and beautifully to our clients throughout NYC. This is a physically active role that requires careful handling of delicate items, excellent navigation skills, and a professional, friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload a variety of plants, planters, floral arrangements, and related supplies to client locations across all five boroughs of NYC.
  • Navigate NYC traffic and parking efficiently, utilizing GPS and local knowledge to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Exercise extreme care when handling delicate plants and floral designs to prevent damage.
  • Communicate effectively with the team regarding delivery schedules, potential delays, and any issues encountered.
  • Assist with basic plant staging and placement upon delivery at client sites as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Potentially assist with light warehouse duties (e.g., organizing plants, prepping materials) during downtime.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a fast-paced urban environment.
  • Familiarity with NYC roads, traffic patterns, and parking regulations is a must.
  • Clean and valid New York State driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy and bulky items (up to 50 lbs regularly) with proper lifting techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and a delicate touch when handling fragile items.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
  • Comfortable using GPS and delivery tracking applications.
  • Prior experience with plants or floristry is a plus, but not required.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, occasional late nights, and weekends is essential to accommodate client schedules and delivery windows.
