As a multi-faceted, dynamic company Blondie’s is known for landscape design and construction, seasonal horticultural styling, rooftop gardens and interior specimen plantings. We are seeking to add a key member to our landscape construction team. We specialize in all aspects of landscape amenity space, including metalwork, carpentry, kitchens, specialty structures, irrigation, and lighting- primarily on rooftops. Project budgets range from $1m-$4m with multiple projects being managed simultaneously. We have a laid back, think tank work environment with team members who truly care about the finished product and the method and science behind getting there. This is a dynamic full-time position that requires a high energy, detail-oriented self-starter with some knowledge and interest in construction, tools and equipment. Needs to work well independently as well as being a crucial component to the success of the team.

Responsibilities/Duties

Candidate will work closely with senior project managers to help facilitate the daily operations of the construction projects. This will include but not limited to:

• Tracking pre-construction progress
• Managing submittals
• Writing up change orders
• Review drawings for constructability
• Budget analysis
• Regular site visits

Qualifications/Requirements

• An understanding of architectural construction and the ability to work fast
• Self starter with an architecture, engineering, or landscape architecture degree
• 3-5 years experience in a relevant industry
• Project Management experience (assistant and Junior levels ok)
• AutoCAD
• Adobe Design Suite
• Revit
• Sketchup
• Excel
• Excellent Communication skills- both written and verbal
• Relevant field work is a plus; carpentry, metalwork, construction, etc.
