Start Date: March  Compensation: $17-$21/hour

Broken Arrow Nursery is seeking two Sales Associates who will work under the supervision of the Sales Manager. Hours are flexible depending on availability, ranging from 16 to 40 hours per week.  Some weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Customer service (such as assisting customers with selecting plants, processing check outs, answering the phone/emails, etc.), helping to keep the sales areas tidy, a wide range of plant care (watering, weeding, deadheading, potting up, etc.), and unloading restock trailers into the sales yard.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Applicants should be energetic, physically fit, and have the ability to follow directions and work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Experience with common computer applications (particularly Windows based) is beneficial, and basic knowledge of common plant material and card is strongly preferred.
• Ideal start time is in March; the nursery season runs through early November, with potential opportunity to extend employment in the Christmas season.
