 Compensation: $42,964/yr

This position is responsible for basic park maintenance including custodial, groundskeeping, building maintenance, and event set-up/breakdown. 

Work hours: M-F 7am - 3:30 pm, 40 hours/week, up to 6-month position

Responsibilities/Duties

Under supervision, performs routine work in the care and maintenance of outdoor areas such as park grounds, recreational areas, lawns, playgrounds, and plant beds as well as park buildings and facilities; maintains and repairs park infrastructure such as benches and fences; participates in event set-up and breakdown; operates and performs minor maintenance on a variety of equipment, tools, and machinery used to care for and maintain grounds; performs power washing, trash management and other related duties as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

• AGE: minimum of 18 years of age
• LICENSE: Appointees must possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey.
• EDUCATION: Graduation from high school, vocational high school, or possession of an approved high school equivalency certificate.
• EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of experience basic groundskeeping or building maintenance experience
