Start Date: 3/16/2026  Compensation: $25-$35 per hour

Dragonetti Brothers is seeking a Tree Injection Technician to perform Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) treatments on street and park trees throughout Queens.

This position involves chemical trunk injections, tree care operations, and working as part of a professional municipal forestry crew. Ideal candidates have arboriculture experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced field environment. The contract term for this work spans multiple seasons, offering steady municipal project opportunities.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Perform trunk injections for Emerald Ash Borer treatment on ash trees
• Operate injection equipment safely and accurately
• Follow work orders, schedules, and productivity requirements
• Maintain daily production records and treatment documentation
• Set up safe work zones (cones, signage, pedestrian/traffic awareness)

Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Tree Care Experience
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions throughoutcQueens

Preferred

• NYS DEC Certified Commercial Pesticide Technician (or Applicator) License
• Experience with trunk injection systems (Arborjet, Wedgle, etc.)
